BEHIND THE LENS

Hello! My name is Samuel May and I am a  Photographer. I am 25 years old and live with my partner, Catrina and four children! I first began my interest of photography a few years back when I bought my first small camera. I started to take pictures of wildlife and was surprised when I seen the outcome of the photo's. In 2008 my twin Sisters, Rosie and Olivia were born, this was great for me and I put myself to the challenge to get some decent photographs of them. The photos were not great but they were good for the level I was at and the camera I was using.

 

Four years ago I bought a larger, more professional camera and like I did before started taking pictures and realised I have a good eye for photography. At this point I offered some close friends and family to a photoshoot at no cost - the pictures were FAB!  I set myself up a group on Facebook and shared my pictures just to get some opinions from people, I had a great response. More and more people are asking me to take photos of their families, friends and even animals.
